Spdif Out To Hard Drive Connecting SPDIF Cable From Soundcard To Hard Drive?

Connecting SPDIF cable from soundcard to hard drive? - spdif out to hard drive

I just got a Sound Blaster Live! X-players from my team. I followed the instrucitons and part of it is to connect a cable from the SPDIF output of the hard disk Sound Blaster connection. The fact is that my CD is no exit for the cable entry

Do I need this, connected my sound card work?

MORE SPDIF connections are made these days in the plate. Look on the motherboard SPDIF should be back and usually on the top of the table .. This way you can have more than one CD-ROM / DVD-ROM to use with your sound card. Just plug it in and the good ..

It's hard to believe that a SPDIF cable is connected to a drive. Are you sure you read the instructions properly?

This is an audio cable and hard drives have no sound at all.
